Local
Current Auto Runtime releases are free to run locally. Start the server on your computer and connect your agent. You do not need an Auto Cloud account or an invitation.
You supply the model credentials. Your model provider and any other connected services may charge for their use.
Auto Cloud
Auto Cloud is coming soon. It will host your playbooks so you can use them through your agent without operating the runtime yourself.
Cloud hosting has its own pricing, separate from self-hosted licensing or help building a playbook. Contact us to discuss Cloud pricing and access.

Self-hosted
Run Auto on infrastructure your team controls. You manage the deployment and pay for your infrastructure, model providers and connected services.
Current Auto Runtime releases do not enforce a usage limit. The planned self-hosted model is free usage up to an operations threshold, with a commercial license required above it. We will publish the threshold and the definition of an operation before the first release that enforces them.
Auto Runtime is source-available under the Elastic License 2.0. Read the licensing guide for the current policy; the license governs use of the software.
